BV Netherlands and other company structures
In The Netherlands, there are several company structures you can choose from, such as BV Netherlands company. Here are some of the company structures listed.
- BV Netherlands, or a private liability company, is possible to start with one or more than or no partner. A BV Netherlands company does not have publicly available stocks that other people are able to buy. This type of company structure is still, however, regarded as a legal entity that is entirely separate from the shareholders. A BV Netherlands company has its own identity from the viewpoint of the law for litigation and taxation. However, in order to engage in any commercial activities, the private liability company must be registered in the Dutch trade register.
- Another company structure you can choose aside from BV Netherlands is the public liability company or shortened to NV company. This type of company is limited in its liability once all of the formation responsibilities have been fulfilled. Moreover, this type of company is lead by a board of directors and it has shareholders as well. The thing is, that here, anyone is able to buy stock since they are available for public purchase on the stock exchange. In contrast to BV Netherlands, the minimum share capital of 45,000 euros has to be deposited in order to list the company publically.
